What is the theatre of Digital Art?
Theatre of Digital Art Dubai is a theatre using high-end technologies, multimedia displays, visual effects, and much more.
It’s considered the very first digital art space in Dubai. It offers visitors an opportunity to explore and experience a deeper look into the paintings/drawings of the most notable artists of all time while listening to some stunning classical music.
The theater presents the most important art movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The rapid development of art during that period is illustrated by the works of 9 remarkable contemporary artists – Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georges Seurat, Edvard Munch, Paul Cézanne, Juan Gris, Robert Delaunay, Paul Klee, and Wassily Kandinsky.

Our Experience at the theatre of Digital Art Dubai
By the time we stepped into the theatre of digital art, the imagery on the theatre walls was floating in multicolored patterns that looks like poured paint.
The paintings on screens were turning into a more abstract theme in intense colors, to get you more relaxed yet so focused, we settled deeper into the beanbags and tried to get more in tune with the settings, if not catch some naps.
We entered with an idea of what to expect, some great visuals of famous notable paintings, soothing classical tunes, some beanbags to relax on, chill relaxing vibes all over the place, and the moving projections of TODA presentations.
The digital art had our full attention for the first few minutes, as we soaked in that artistic atmosphere.
The Surround melodies help a lot to get in the mood for what you’re about to see!
It’s definitely worth putting on your to-do list if you’d love to have immersive art experiences, you will be amazed by the experience overall, as Dubai never fails to impress us.

A little bit of history about the theatre of Digital Art Dubai
The theatre of digital art opened its doors In 2014 with two branches, one in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg.
The journey began with displaying multimedia art and contemporary immersive installations that presented the works of famous artists like Vincent Van Gogh, and Monet.
The ingenious concept of multimedia exhibitions expanded with more art exhibitions in Berlin from 2016 to 2018.
In 2019, the theater of digital art launched two exhibits of its own production, “From Monet to Kandinsky, Revolutionary Art” and “Italian Renaissance Leonardo, Michelangelo, Rafael”.
In 2020, the theater produced another digital art show named “Something Nouveau, Klimt, Mucha Beardsley”.
And was followed by two more projects “The Museum of Digital Arts in Bangkok and the House of Digital Art in Switzerland”.
The theatre opened its door to UAE residents in October 2020, in Madinat Jumeirah – Dubai.
It has been in operation since 2014 and was developed with the support of the European digital production house – Vision Multimedia Projects.
The theatre of digital art has produced and displayed many multimedia art shows in over 11 cities across the globe.
TODA aims to increase the awareness of the legendary masterpieces of art through modern technologies, and special visual and sound effects as well.
